Formosa Nhon Trach Project
Following its successful collaboration with Formosa Ha Tinh, PPL has become a regular transportation partner for Formosa Nhon Trach, handling the transportation of containers from Cat Lai port to the factory in Dong Nai.
Goals & Scope of Work
- Ensure safe, continuous, and stable daily container transportation.
- Meet the large transportation needs of the Formosa Nhon Trach plant.
- Manage and coordinate vehicles efficiently according to actual needs.
Key Challenges
- Large and stable daily transport volume.
- The Cat Lai – Nhon Trach route has high traffic density.
- Continuous maintenance of Formosa's supply chain is required.
Solutions & Deployment
- Combine road and water transport to optimize time.
- Establish a 24/7 operational team to monitor progress.
- Maintain a high-quality fleet of vehicles and barges to meet large daily production volumes.
- Coordinate closely with Formosa to promptly address any emerging issues.

Vehicles Used
- 18 container tractor trucks (8 flatbed trailers, 10 skeletal trailers)- Barges with a capacity of 50-100 containers/trip
Transport Capacity
50-60 containers/day (~1,500 containers/month)

- Ensuring stable and uninterrupted transportation at high capacity.
- Guaranteed absolute safety for goods and vehicles.
- Contributing to maintaining the efficient and smooth production supply chain of Formosa Nhon Trach.
