Four (04) modules of project HRSG modules had been delivered and launched successfully from Dong Xuyen port to PV Shipyard port, Vung Tau by Precious Prestige Trading and Logistics Company Limited (“PPL”).

Four (04) modules of project HRSG modules had been delivered and launched successfully from Dong Xuyen port to PV Shipyard port, Vung Tau by Precious Prestige Trading and Logistics Company Limited (“PPL”). The delivery progress faced to difficulties of the northeast wind season, but the mission had been completed to prove the ability of PPL in super-heavy transportation field.

After signing the delivering and launching 4 modules of Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG modules), Precious Prestige Trading and Logistics Company Limited (“PPL”) has planned to deliver these 4 modules from Dong Xuyen port to PV Shipyard port. Each module has a length of 17 meters, 8.6 meters in size, 25 meters in height and weighs nearly 600 tons. In the northeast wind season, to deliver these heavy cargoes within ensuring the safety of the goods, the experts, engineers and workers of PPL must calculate carefully the specifications and weather condition. The most important thing is to determine the water level, balance the barge with the water level outside when launching the cargoes in the barge.

Surveying, calculating and having an optimal plan, PPL arranged the most suitable vehicles and devices, always monitored the weather in the launching area and Dong Xuyen port. Workers had co-operated harmoniously in putting trailers under the cargoes, checking the weight of load-in and load-out port to strengthen the route as well as load-out the cargoes on time when having suitable tide.

PPL also used the self-propelled modular transporter (SPMT) to load-out the cargoes from the wharves down to barges, arrange in the order of wagons, and then load-in to wharves. With the team of experienced experts and engineers, the SPMT was perfectly controlled, so the modules were transported easily without consuming too much time. After having left Dong Xuyen port, the 4 modules were transported to the PV Shipyard port. Then, the affairs of putting the modules on the ground were conducted carefully by the PPL experts and engineer team.
