Tra Vinh - More wind power projects approved for investment

Up to now, Tra Vinh province has had 5 wind power projects completed and connected to the 322MW national power grid with an investment of more than 16,000 billion VND.

Wind power project completed in Tra Vinh

The People's Committee of Tra Vinh province has just issued a decision approving the investment policy and approving the investor for the Thang Long wind power plant project, with a total investment of 3,860 billion VND.

Thang Long Wind Power Plant Project is invested by Thang Long Tra Vinh Wind Power Joint Stock Company (Luong Hoa A commune, Chau Thanh district). This is the 9th wind power project in Tra Vinh province that has been granted an investment policy.

The project can install up to 24 wind turbines, built on a total area of nearly 600ha; of which nearly 545ha is water surface area in Duyen Hai district, over 53ha in mainland is located in Dinh An Economic Zone, including items: Substation, Operator, Bridge, Foundation for 220kV line, Road operation and line safety corridor.

It is expected that the Thang Long Wind Power Plant project will complete the acceptance test and commercial power generation in the third quarter of 2023.
