Tan Son Nhat Terminal T3 Project
Tan Son Nhat Terminal T3 Project is a national key project invested by Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV), starting construction at the end of 2022 with a total investment of nearly 11,000 billion VND.
Goals & Scope of Work
- Safe and timely transportation of all steel structures for the construction of Terminal 3.
- Ensuring traffic safety and technical standards are met during the transportation of oversized and overweight cargo.
- Closely coordinating with ATAD and the construction contractor at the site.
Key Challenges
- Large volume of material to be transported (3,156 tons) in a short time.
- Large steel structure (~24 m long, ~5 m wide).
- Transportation route through a high-traffic area.
- Strict adherence to national project safety regulations and progress control requirements.
Solutions & Deployment
- Mobilize a fleet of specialized, internationally standardized oversized and overweight vehicles.
- Develop optimal transportation plans for each route to minimize risks.
- Coordinate personnel in shifts to ensure safe traffic flow in densely populated areas.
- Monitor 24/7 to control the progress and quality of transportation.
