Barossa–Singapore Project (Shipment 1)
The Barossa–Singapore Project marked the first project of the Year of the Water Cat for Precious Prestige Logistics (PPL). Shipment 01 of the project was carried out from January 26, 2023 to February 1, 2023.
Goals & Scope of Work
The two shipments, 6701A and 6701B, were moved from Vina-Offshore port to Dong Xuyen port and loaded onto a barge.
Solutions & Deployment
The tasks performed in the project include:
- Mobilizing personnel, equipment, and vehicles at Dong Xuyen port.
- Installing pumps, pipes, winches, etc., according to the plan and performing pre-ballast for the pumps.
- Arranging the support legs on the barge, welding, and NDT.
- Assembling the trailers at Vina-Offshore port. Assembling the trailers into the planned configuration.
- Moving the trailers to the receiving position for package 6701A, and securing the packages to the trailers.
- Conducting a test lift. Moving package 6701A from Vina-Offshore port to Dong Xuyen port. Near the load-out location, lowering the packages onto pre-arranged concrete blocks.
- Checking the pump operation.
- Rotating the barge, adjusting and mooring the barge to the pier for load-out.
- Moving the trailers to the load-out location.
- Install the gangway. Load out package 6701A onto the barge, and lower the trailer onto the pre-installed supports. Sea fasten the package. The trailer returns to Vina-Offshore port to prepare for the relocation of package 6701B.
- Move the trailer to the receiving position for package 6701B and secure the package to the trailer.
- Test lift. Move package 6701B from Vina-Offshore port to Dong Xuyen port. Near the load-out location, lower the package onto the pre-arranged concrete supports.
- The trailer moves package 6701B to the load-out location.
- Install the gangway. Load out package 6701B, and lower the trailer onto the pre-installed supports. Sea fasten the package. The trailer leaves the barge.
- Check sea fastening and NDT on the welds. Inflate ballast for sea transport.
- The barge leaves the port.
- Hand over the goods, and pack up the equipment and vehicles back at the yard.
