Kanfa Module Transportation and Launching Project at PV Shipyard Port (Phase 2)
The Kanfa Phase 2 module transportation and launching project at PV Shipyard took place from April 5th, 2022 to April 10th, 2022, and was carried out by PPL
Goals & Scope of Work
- Project Name: Loadout of 2 Kanfa Modules
- Work: Transportation and launching of 2 modules
- Weight per package: Approximately 600 tons
- Dimensions per package: 17m x 8.6m x 25m
- Execution time: April 5, 2022 - April 10, 2022
Solutions & Deployment
To ensure the safe and secure transportation of the modules, PPL engineers and staff meticulously planned and calculated technical parameters, and most importantly, monitored the water level to maintain balance between the barge and the outside water level during the loading of the cargo.
During the project, PPL used the SPMT self-propelled hydraulic trailer to move the modules from the dock to the barge, arranging them in order. The process was smooth, safe, and on schedule.
The site move and loadout of the two modules proceeded according to PPL's plan, ensuring the project's progress, safety, and quality.
Results & Effectiveness
We hope that in the coming time, PPL will continue to receive the trust of our valued customers and partners so that we can support businesses in the field of logistics and transportation of oversized and overweight cargo.
