PPL participated in the transportation and customs clearance of equipment for the Cu Ne and Krong Buk wind power projects, including 73 oversized and overweight wind turbine towers, to support the urgent construction schedule in Dak Lak.
Goals & Scope of Work
- Transporting all 73 wind turbine towers from Phu My Port and Cam Ranh Port to the construction site.
- Ensuring fast and safe customs clearance.
- Maintaining the schedule under tight deadlines and high technical requirements.
Key Challenges
- Very short equipment delivery timeframe.
- Heavy rain, steep mountain roads, and complex terrain.
- Transportation work took place during the lockdown period due to the pandemic.
- Large cargo: heaviest unit weighing 86.9 tons, longest unit measuring 77 meters.

- Develop transportation plans suitable for the terrain and weather conditions.
